Love Dr. Siebert.

I recently had to make the tough decision to finally have my beloved cat put to sleep. Although this was the first time I visited Surfside and encountered Dr. Haver, I count myself as lucky to have had this compassionate and kind man help me during this horrible time. He spent a lot of time talking with me and never made me feel rushed. He was wonderful with my cat and treated her very gently. He came highly recommended to me by a friend and I in turn would without reservation recommend him as well. I wish this practice every success.

I went to Surfside because it is nearby and my dog needed a general physical and rabies shot. Dr. Haven did a fine job and assessing his general health. When I ask about a blood test he told me the cost and it was not necessary. I appreciated his up front manner. I did election to have the blood test done for my peace of mind and Dr. Haven called me 2 days later with the good results. I'm recommending him to everyone in my community.

Dr. Haver has done SO MUCH for our community's homeless animals! He is an amazing advocate for spay/neuter and adoption. He truly cares about all animals' well being and puts what is best for them above anything else. He's great with the owners too! Kind, funny, and very open to explaining ailments/procedures/etc. The animal welfare community loves Dr. Haver and hopes you support his practice so he can continue to support our community! :)

My experience with my first visit to Surfside Animal Hospital was great, I was with another Animal Hospital for over 20 years and in the past recent years have not been wanting to take my Aussie there for any treatment because everytime I would get done there it was hundreds and hundreds of dollars spent on things my dogs breeder said was unnecessary so my husbands caregiver told me about surfside, so my dog got a cut on his foot took him in to see dr. Haver, and only about $ 60.00 later I was back home with my dog. the people there were very friendly , and the rep at the desk also got me some information on a better pet insurance than the one I was enrolled in. and I will go back to surfside with my Aussie.

We moved to Oceanside 5 years ago and quickly had to find a vet. We went to Mission Animal hospital and were SO blessed to have found 2 wonderful, compassionate vets. Dr. Haver and Dr. Siebert both have treated our kids and they both have such a wonderful way with our animals. In 2008 we had to call upon Dr. Haver and Peaceful Passing to say good-bye to one of our beloved family members. Dr. Haver came into our home and allowed us to say our good-byes in the comfort of our familiar surroundings. When I heard the news that Dr. Haver and Dr. Siebert where going to be practicing together out of Surfside Animal Hospital I was over come with JOY!! We couldnt' have asked to have 2 better vets in one location! I am thrilled with Surfside!! We FINALLY have an Animal Hospital that truly has our animals best interest at heart!

We have had cats + dogs going on 40 years, and we have seen many Vetinarians over the years and alot of them excellent "caring" Doctors, but we have found Doctor Gary Siebert ranks second to none when it comes to true compassion for animals, and the true desire to treat you pet and you with the best care and expertise I have ever seen! I am so grateful that Dr. Siebert is back in practice. He has treated my cats for various problems over the years and has always been kind, caring, and compassionate. He is a great diagnostician and has succeeded in diagnosing problems correctly where other vets did not. He has a vast store of knowledge and experience. He is the best vet I have ever had, and I highly recommend him.

7/29/2010 we brig our yorksher terrier as 4yyear male, Dr Siebert was such hornest Dr i ever know,,, he is not other like other hospital does extra test and charges, we ask as we want know our dog,s sickness,,, thank you so much surf side stuff to ,,, she is right ,, front dest lady tahnk you so much,,, Chita is just about 12 hours after visit he is great thank you thank you i will tell many frineds and famiy to bout surf side Dr and Stuff GodBless Naori

Dr. Siebert has treated my four cats for almost 15 years. They have always received excellent care with great compassion. It has been a long difficult wait for Dr.Siebert to resume practice, but now I am over-joyed to be able to have this wonderful caring person take care of my pets again. They really care about us! Going to the vet can be scary but Drs Haver & Seibert take their time with us and do what it best for us without breaking our mom's bank (always need the extra money for treats you know). They are awesome! If I think so, you will too. We have known Dr Haver for many years are happy to call Surfside our new vet- so glad the practice is open!

In 2002, we adopted a german shepherd/rottie mix puppy. We only had her about a week and she got very sick. Not only did she have bordatella,but also had parvo. Dr. Haver was on the Eastern Shore of Maryland then and he was the treating veterinarian, along with another veterinarian at the facility. Well, between the two of them our Tala lived and is quite healthy today, eight years later! Dr. Haver is one of the best doctors we've ever dealt with, and Tala had nothing but kisses for him upon her check-up after she got better. Folks, if you need someone to take care of your "kids", don't go elsewhere...Dr. Haver is the best!

We just got home from our first visit with our three dogs, and we could not be more pleased with the service that we received. Not only do they give you multiple-animal discounts, they are as concerned about the owners as they are the pets. They revised our dogs' vaccination schedules and changed their medication resulting in huge savings to us. Their vets do not work on commission (like the other animal hospitals in the area) so we feel that we received quality care and unbiased advice. AND, they stock the medications and their prices rival the on-line medication prices. we could not be more pleased!! Staff is great, too. We highly, highly recommend them. Great experience!!!

I am so happy to have found Dr. Siebert! I moved here form out of state and had a very hard time finding a vet in California that I could trust and was not only interested in making money. My first experience with Dr. Siebert was amazing. He spent a great deal of time with me and my dog Ellie Mae. He listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions. It is evident that he really, really cares about his patients, and he is great with humans too which is very hard to find in a vet these days. I will be recommending Dr. Siebert to all my friends and family with pets! (already have!) The entire staff at Surfside is very friendly and helpful.

I can't express enough how much I appreciated everyone here at Surfside..I had my little dog Kiley spayed and they went above and beyond care. Junior my canine child kept on scratching at his skin tags. So I was looking around for a good Vet to remove them with a local anesthetic so that I could take Junior home immediately. Well Junior was in with Dr. Haver for about 20+ mins+ and came out very spry and happy to see me, tail wagging like crazy. We took Junior home and he healed up well the stiches dissolved and there were no scars at all. You would think Dr. Haver is a plastic surgeon for animals too. He cares alot about his patients and their parents. We will be coming in again for Junior's next exam.

When the sign finally went up and I realized I had found Dr. Siebert again, I was thrilled. His talent with all animals is great, but his knowledge of and support for elderly cats goes above and beyond. I didn't think I knew Dr. Haver, but surprise, surprise! His work with the SNAP low cost spay and neuter program is long standing and so very worthwhile. These two men look at the animals first and their wallets second. The support staff was carefully chosen and they match the doctors in efficiency and conscientious caring. This is simply the best place you can take your animals. Period!

Dr. Seibert has been our veterinarian for over 20 years and is wonderful. We have quickly gotten to know Dr. Haver recently and we are so very impressed with his professionalism, his obvious love for animals, and his personal attention to his clients. It is nice to feel comfortable bringing a family member (that is what our dogs are to us) some place where you know they will be well taken care of, especially when emergencies happen. The staff at Surfside Animal Clinic is also fabulous. Extremely friendly, caring and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Surfside to everyone. I used to go to Mission Animal Hospital but found it was getting to expensive for me. One day while driving I saw ur sign for ur hospital. I called and made an appt. My dog has allergies and Dr. Seibert treated him , without charging an arm and a leg!! He is wonderful, and me and my baby will go back!! The staff were also great!! Highly recommended!!

I recommend both Doctors Seibert and Haver for honest, caring, compassionate Vets. I would like thank and express my full appreciation to Dr. Haver for having operated on Missy, he gave me hope after having bad Vet experiences here in O'side. Today, I had to say goodbye to Missy, she was almost 17 years old. I look forward in taking any future pets to them.

Dr. Siebert is a wonderful doctor. The staff is incredibly professional and friendly. We have recently relocated to the Southern California area. We are so happy to have found such a wonderful place for the care of our tabby and Golden Retriever.

I would like to thank Surfside Animal Hospital,(once again) for coming to the aide of one of my animals in an emergency situation.Pippin my Chihuahua,arrived badly beaten up by my Border Collie and in shock.Everyone there rushed to our side and "flew" Pippin to the back.
